Serafino Carri

Serafino Anthony Carri “Steve” Serafino Anthony Carri went to be with his Lord on January 7, 2009. He was 75 years old. He was born January 4, 1934 in Plainfield, New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a fighter pilot and then instructor. Received an honorable discharge and retired with the rank of Major from the Air Force June 30, 1972. He acquired a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University. He then worked as a C.P.A for El Paso Natural Gas for twenty years from June 1, 1974 to June 1, 1994. Throughout his career he held the positions of analyst, senior analyst, assistant manager, manager and director all within the tax department. He was a devoted husband and father to his wife of 50 years. He is survived by his wife Virginia, son Stephen, daughter Linda and three grandchildren Anthony, Cody and Elena. Brother Louis Carri, Sisters Marie De Lisi, Vivian Leahy and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed but fondly remembered. A viewing will be held at Sunset Funeral Home West, 480 North Resler on January 12 at 6:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held at Ft. Bliss Cemetery, Tuesday, January 13 at 10:30 a.m with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
