Seok-Lee ("Sue") Brown, 58, of El Paso, passed peacefully on January 9th, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents Gek-Eng Quah and Chew-Eng Koay. She was born on December 13th, 1954, in Ayer Tawar, Malaysia, and moved to Denton to complete her Bachelor's in Nursing at Texas Women's University. She was employed as a registered nurse in Lubbock before moving to El Paso, where she started her own home health agency and became a successful entrepreneur. A devout Christian, she was enthusiastic about sharing her love of the Lord with others. Her ambitious nature never overshadowed her generosity, and she worked tirelessly so that she could share what she earned with others. She loved travel, politics, health and nutrition, and her dog and faithful companion, Arrow. She is survived by her two children, Grace and Tim Brown, who fondly remember her as a loving and caring mother who always encouraged them to be the best they could be. She is further survived by her sisters Seok-Kiaw Koay, Seok-Doo Koay, Zahra Koay Sadeghian, and Seok-Kiew Koay, and brothers Teng-Boon Koay and Teng-Hock Koay. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am-10:00 am, Monday, January 14, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
