Sara Moya Padilla

Moya-Padilla Sara Moya Padilla, "Honey", went home to Our Lord Jesus Christ on May 31, 2021, at the age of 93. A life-long resident of El Paso, TX. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. Raising not only her own children, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the matriarch of the family, the strongest, toughest woman we have ever known. She made everyone around her laugh with her great sense of humor. Never asked for anything as long as she had her bingo, scratch offs, and cigarettes. "Tenemos el corazón partido, Vamos extrañar su sonrisa y su presencia" Loved ones preceded in death: husband, Antonio Padilla. Daughter, Yolanda Padilla. Grand-daughter, Laura L. Padilla. Survivors: Daughter, Ofelia Flores (Roberto) and family, Son, Jesus A. Padilla (Virginia) and family. Grandchildren: 11. Great-Grandchildren: 24. Great-Great Grandchildren: 10. All her nephews and Nieces. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a vigil/rosary at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 11, 2021 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
