Sandra Jo Nicholson

Sandra J. Nicholson passed away peacefully in her home on November 13, 2016 Sandra is survived by her sister Ardith (Jack) Rister, daughter Diane Humbert , sons James Michael Nicholson (Barbara), and Tommy Ray Nicholson (Grace), seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years William Charles (Nick) Nicholson and their son William Charles (Chuck) Nicholson. Sandra worked many years in the car dealership industry until she retired in October 2000. During her retirement she volunteered at the Veterans Administration and as a "grandma" for the day care center at Fort Bliss until falling ill. Sandra dearly loved her pet poodles and was an avid reader. The family would like to thank Kathy Dennison for her care and friendship that she had with our loved one Sandra. A Committal Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
