Samuel Manago, Sr., 62, went to heaven December 23, 2008. He served 34 years of military service in the Marine Corp and the Army National Guard. He retired from the Army National Guard in 1996 as a Staff Sargent. He served as a Deputy Sheriff, a Deputy Constable, with the INS and also retired from the El Paso Natural Gas Company. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Sara Manago, and brother, Jose Dominick Manago, Jr. Survived by son, Samuel Manago Jr. and daughter Monica Noemi Manago. Brother Michael Angelo Manago, Sisters Rose Marie Manago Smith, and Virginia Manago Jackson. Nephews Christopher J. Jackson, Raymond J. Jackson, Jeffrey D. Jackson, Michael L. Smith, Joseph Dominick Manago III, Anthony V. Manago, Mark Angelo Manago, Michael David Manago, Dominick Ray Manago. Good standing in Christ the Savior Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Prayer Service at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church. Pallbearers are Samuel Manago, Jr., Christopher Jackson, Jaime Muñoz, Sr., Jaime Muñoz , Jr.. Jeffrey Jackson, Michael L. Smith, Mark Manago, Hector Orozco,. Honorary Pallbearers, Michael Angelo Manago, and John Jackson.
