Salvador "Chava" Reyes

Salvador Reyes, July 02, 1924-September 28, 2010 Salvador (Chava) Reyes our beloved father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife Clemencia Reyes. He is survived by his two daughters; Estela Reyes (Teresa) and Maria R. Moreno (Miguel), three grandchildren; Estela (Carlos), Angelica and Michael Moreno, three great-grandchildren Nicholas, Santiago, and Isaac Contreras and one sister; Canuta Muñoz. He retired from UTEP after 25 years of service as a grounds-keeper. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Special thanks to Cuidado Casero Home Health/Hospice and Angel Aguilar and his staff for all the caring and kindness they gave to our father. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Friday, October 1, 2010 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 9 am Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
