Sachi Tina Biever

Sachi T. Biever 72, known to family and friends as Tina, died January 5, 2007. Tina was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, John Biever. She was born in Oshima, Japan and is survived by children, Roy and Mary Biever; Grandchildren, Aaron and Ashley Biever, and Eaven Rogers; daughters-in-law, Ana and Dayna; brother, Noriyoshi; and sisters, Namiko and Haruyo Tsuru, and Kayoko Kumoto. She was an active catholic parishioner of Holy Trinity and St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Chaparral, NM. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a gentle heart, an admirable yet humble spirit and devout servant of the Lord. Her life held many milestones but her time in this world was marked by her devotion to her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, an avid bingo player beside her long time friend, Hiroko, and a supporter of many charities such as EWTN, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, Guest House among others. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2007 starting at 6pm with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 9am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Following the service, Tina will be laid to rest at Fort Bliss National Cemetery where she will join her beloved husband. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
