Ruth Ellen Kaerwer

Ruth Ellen Kaerwer, 96, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2011 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob Kaerwer. She is survived by her two sons, Bobby ( Diann) & George Kaerwer( Kay); daughter, Mary Ellen Pickrel ( Eddie); her five grandchildren, Melissa Holguin ( David), April Pickrel ( Eric), Andrew Pickrel, Sean Kaerwer & Kevin Kaerwer; two great grandchildren, Jacob Holguin & Simon Holguin. Ruth was born in Gatesville, Texas and lived her life from the age of 3 until she was 15 in The Methodist Children’s Home in Waco, Tx. She later would move to El Paso, Tx where she met her husband, Bob, of 53 years. Ruth immediately felt welcomed and accepted into the Kaerwer family. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
