With profound sorrow, we at Sunset Funeral Home announce the passing of Rudy Murillo, aged 68, who left us for his eternal journey on Thursday, December 28, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. Rudy was not just a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather; he was a beacon of love, strength, and kindness in the lives of all who knew him. His legacy of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family will forever be cherished. Rudy is lovingly remembered by his dearest mother, Maria Luisa Baca; his devoted wife of 47 years, Evelia Murillo; his beloved children, Diana Christine Murillo Alvarado, her husband Jonathan Alvarado, Linda Ann Murillo, and Rudy Adam Murillo; and his adored grandchildren, Alexa Yasmin Valdez and Johnathan Luciano Alvarado. He also leaves behind siblings Aida Aguilar, Miguel Jauregui, and Lupe Jauregui. His father, Rodolfo Jauregui, precedes him in passing. Rudy’s life was a tapestry of deep connections and enduring bonds, as evidenced by the many extended friends and family members who joined us in mourning his loss and celebrating his remarkable life. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 09, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home-West. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N.
