Rudy Martinez

Rudy Martinez, 46, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 in his home. Rudy was born in El Paso, TX on January 26, 1975. He attended Montwood High School and graduated in 1993. He then joined the United States Navy where he served proudly for 20 years. Rudy worked for Continuity Global Solutions holding the title of Youth Care Worker. Rudy is proceeded in death by his father, Efren Martinez and is survived by his mother, Teresa S. Martinez, his son, Rudy Jr., his daughter, Sophia, and his brothers and sisters: Alma Rosa, Efren Jr., Armando, Betty Mary, Lorena, Christina, and Veronica. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, May 31, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 10970 Bywood. Committal Service will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
