Rudolfo C. Guerra

February 7, 1930 — September 15, 2010

The Good Lord answered our prayers and took our dad, Rudolfo C. Guerra, to heaven to stop his suffering from his tired heart. He will live on in our hearts and be remembered as the best dad anyone could ask for. He was a prisoner of war during the Korean Conflict, he was a Veteran, a retired Immigration Officer, and then a volunteer for the Red Cross, Ascarate School and C.O.P. He is preceded in death by his parents; Nicolas and Herminia Guerra, brothers; Ramon, Nick Sr. and Ben Guerra, and sister; Adelina Guerra. He is survived by his ex-wife Amelia L. Guerra, sons; Rudy II and Daniel Guerra, daughters; Maria Isela Teto and Virginia Guerra. He is survived by his loving wife Susana Guerra, sons; Raymond and Steven Guerra, daughters; Juana and Sonia Guerra. Gloria Sanchez and daughter Pearl Guerra. Sisters; Juanita Brusuelas, Paula Arragon and Lupe Apodaca. We love you very much and you will be greatly missed. Visitation will he held from 4:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-East with a Vigil at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Christ the Savior Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers to serve are Rudy Jr., Daniel, Nick, Dennis, Ruben, Rudy III and Henry Joe Guerra. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
