Ruby Veck O'Leary

Ruby Veck O'Leary born February 9th 1934 in El Paso, Texas Passed away January 23rd 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents James & Stella Veck and brothers Richard & James Veck. She is survived by her sister Rachel Veck Gabriel & Billy Veck along with 5 children; Lanette O'Leary-Eveler, Tom O'Leary, Karen O'Leary, DeeAnn O'Leary- Hertzog & Stacey O'Leary-Boswell. Ruby has 9 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren. She attended El Paso High School & Western New Mexico College where she earned her degree in English. She worked for Kress, El Paso Times. Ruby was an antique dealer for over 50 Years. She loved to mentor others in their start in the antique business. She had a wealth of knowledge in retablos. She enjoyed doing antique shows where she met many of her dear & closest friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr El Paso, TX 79912. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
