Ruben Lara Ortega

Ruben Lara Ortega, 93, entered into eternal rest on February 21, 2024 in Clint, Texas. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josefina Ortega; parents, Policarpio Ortega and Gumercinda Lara; siblings, Jesus Ortega, Policarpio Ortega Jr., Regino Ortega, Maria Ortega, Betty Ortega Corrales, Emma Garcia and Rosa Ortega. Ruben is survived by his loving children, Hector Ortega, Ruben Ortega Jr., Sergio Ortega and Juanita Quijada; brothers, Santos Ortega and Blas Ortega.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, 611 Avenida de San Lorenzo, Clint, Texas 79836. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, 611 Avenida de San Lorenzo, Clint, Texas 79836. A graveside will follow at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at San Lorenzo Cemetery, 1200 Roberts Rd., Clint, Texas 79836.
