Roy D. Antell

Roy D. Antell, 75, passed away in his home at El Paso, TX on May 3. Roy served his country by enlisting in the US Army and serving for 26 years through Korea, Vietnam and Germany before retiring in 1977. Roy then became an employee of AFEES for yet another 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years mary, his son, Tony and wife Madeline, his son, Tim and wife, Fatima, and daughter, Theresa yarbrough. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Roy is also survived by his brother, Johnny and sister Imogene in California. He is preceded in death by his son, Terry. Roy will be remembered as a dedicated, hard working, loyal, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Committal Service will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the El Paso Cancer Society. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
