(FOR ENGLISH OBITUARY SEE FURTHER BELOW) Rosa (“Rosy”) Pallares Morones de Barraza, 67, seguidora devota y servidora de Cristo, amorosa esposa, mama, abuelita, hermana, y amiga, paso a los brazos amorosos de su Salvador el Domingo 27 de de Febrero, 2022, en El Paso, TX, después de una larga y ardua batalla con cancer agresivo de lymphoma. Rosy sera cariñosamente recordada por su esposo, Moises "Leonel" Barraza, cuyo matrimonio tenia 38 años, y sus hijos, Moises (y su esposa Sarah), y Omar (y su esposa Barbara). Rosy era la Abuelita de sus 6 nietos, Moises Jose-Gabriel, Josue Marie (en el cielo), Alethia Sofia, Omar Santiago, Rose Aurora, y Yeshua Mikhael. Rosy era hermana de "Chuy" (Jesus), "Melly" (Amelia), "Mariquita" (Maria), y "Paty" (Patricia). Rosy, una esposa y amorosa mama para sus dos hijos, poseía una fe profunda que era el cimiento para todo lo que hacia en su vida. Bella por dentro y por fuera, Rosy tenia un corazón de servicio. Su dedicación, sencillez, y espíritu de amor se irradiaba en toda sus relaciones e interacciones con todos los que la conocieron. Ella fue un símbolo de fortaleza y sabiduría para tantos durante tiempos difíciles. Rosy compartio su corazón y su amor con otros a travez de los muchos años que ella sirvió en la iglesia con ministerios de matrimonios, familias, y niños. Su regalo mas grande fue el discipulado con Cristo que compartió con tantos, y los muchos amigos y familiares que conocieron el amor de Jesus a travez de conocer a Rosy. Su familia va a extrañar profundamente su presencia amorosa en sus vidas, pero se regocijan sabiendo que ahora Rosy esta en paz y esta regocijándose con Cristo su Salvador. “Bien hecho sierva buena y fiel….entra en el gozo del Señor!” (Mat 25:21). Rosy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Moises “Leonel” Barraza whose marriage with Rosy was going on its 38th year, and by her children, Moises (and wife Sarah) and Omar (and wife Barbara). She was the proud Abuelita to her 6 grandchildren, Moises Jose-Gabriel, Josue Marie (in heaven), Alethia Sofia, Omar Santiago, Rose Aurora, and Yeshua Mikhael. Rosy was the sister to Jesus, Amelia, Maria, and Patricia. She had numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Rosy, a devoted wife and selfless mother to her two children, possessed a deep faith that was the foundation for everything in her life. Beautiful inside and out, Rosy had the heart of a servant. Her dedication, simplicity, and loving spirit radiated outwardly in her interactions and relationships with all who knew her. She was a symbol of strength and wisdom during the most challenging of times for so many. Rosy shared her heart and love for others through the many years she served in marriage, family, and children’s ministry. Her greatest gift was in her discipleship and the many friends and family who came to know the love of Jesus through knowing Rosy. Her family will dearly miss her loving presence in their lives, but rejoices knowing she is now at peace and rejoicing with Christ her Savior. “Well done good and faithful servant….come share your master’s joy. “ (Matt 25:21). Please join Rosy’s family in honoring her life and legacy on Monday, March 7th, 2022 for visitation held from 5:00 pm - 9:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home West, 480 N. Resler Dr. El Paso, TX 79912. Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 at 4:00 pm, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Rd.
