Rose Lovas, 97, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. She was born to John and Barbara Nesboyle in New Jersey. Before she married, Rose saved money so that she could attend secretarial school, then she worked with the Burroughs Comptometer, which was an innovative mechanical calculator. After her marriage, she gave up work until her children were older. Then she worked briefly for an investment company and also was a dedicated teacher of young children. Rose married her beloved husband Joseph K. Lovas and they were blessed with three wonderful children; Barbara Reynolds (Ernest), Mark Joseph Lovas, and Joanne Loucaides (Loukis). Rose was a dedicated mother and a teacher of young children at the end of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband. Rose leaves behind her children, three grandchildren; John Joseph Loucaides, Sarah Reynolds, and Colleen Reynolds, and four great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, July 10, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 pm., Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere St. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
