Rosario Zbieg

Rosario Aguirre Gonzalez Zbieg was born in Izer, Texas on March 2, 1915. Rosie lived most of her life in El Paso. She attended El Paso High and Texas College of Mines, earning a B.A. in Education and a major in History. She taught at Ysleta and El Paso at Zavala Elementary School. Rosie married Adam John Zbieg on August 5, 1950 and had one child. She is survived by her daughter Romaine, a brother, Robert Gonzalez from Macon, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, December 03, 2006 with a vigil at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East; located at 750 N. Carolina Drive. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 4, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 1315 Travis. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
