RosaLee Minjares-Shreve

RosaLee Minjares-Shreve was preceded in death by her parents; Bivie Lee (Bobbie) & Roberto (Bob) Minjares. She peacefully departed for her last cruise to the beautiful resort in the sky July 29th, 2009 to join her longtime partner Phillip J Mowad on their eternal adventure. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and good friend. She is survived by her 5 children; Jimmie Lee Hughes, Johnnie Lee Hughes (wife Debbie), Janet Lee Hughes, Jackie Hughes, Jeannette Lois (Punkin) Bandy, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; Sister's Angelina (Gina/Tortia) Pacheco (Fernando †), JoAnn Lujan (Angel Jr). She was very passionate about traveling all over the world especially to Las Vegas, she was an avid bowler and loved the Dallas Cowboys. She was a very vivacious, classy and intelligent woman who loved to read & learn especially everything about Old El Paso. She was quite the history buff and had a great sense of humor. She had built a career in pharmacy that lasted over 40 years. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her. Visitation Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 4-7pm, Rosary at 7pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass Monday, August 3, 2009 at 9:30am at Santa Lucia Catholic Church at 518 Gallagher Interment following mass at Mt Carmel Cemetery Pallbearers will be; Jimmie Lee Hughes, Johnnie Lee Hughes, Raul Bueno, Angel Lujan III, Angel Lujan Jr., David James Forti III. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Kenny Mowad, Joseph Orr Sr., Lil Joseph Orr II, Coach Doug LittleJohn, Rudy Hernandez. We would like to say a special thank you to all of the people from CIMA Hospice that took such great care of our beloved Mother and friend. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home East.
