Rosa Wenke

Rosa Wenke, 81, passed away on November 13, 2010. Born on February 11, 1929 in Udine, Italy, she was the youngest of eleven children. She met and married Richard Wenke, a U.S. Army soldier stationed in Germany, and lived in El Paso since 1967. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, music and dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wenke, and is survived by her son, John A. Wenke; daughter in law, Veronica; granddaughters, Breanna and Melina; sister Maria Haynes (Muldraugh, KY); brother in law, John Haynes; sister, Angelina Flaibani (Italy); and sister Lina Querra (Italy). A special thanks for the compassionate care by the staff at the Regency, as well as Hospice of El Paso. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Homes - West, 480 N. Resler, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon, and burial at Ft.
