Rosa Maria Peña

On April 9, 2011, Rosa M. Peña shared her last moments with us after a long battle with breast cancer. Rosa touched each one of us in her own special way and shared a piece of her heart with each one of us.. She is preceded in death by her parents; Rodolfo and Maria Luisa, siblings; Gregorio, Jesus and Guadalupe, nieces; Marilou and Alejandra. Rosa is survived by her husband; Frank, children; Omar (Selene), Karla and Frank, grandchildren; Alejandra and Diego, siblings; Rudy, Adolfo (Patricia), Carmen, Tita, Nizta (Jose Luis), and Iñigo, aunt Graciela, nieces and nephews, Carmen, Marifer, Patricia (Jesus), Sofia, Leonel, Jose Luis, Graciela, Juan Antonio, Ivan, Patricia , Adolfo , and Robert. We would also like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to her co-workers and friends from Bingo Plus. Mom, thank you for all of your love and sacrifices. You were our best friend, role model, and by far the most beautiful and strongest woman we know. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm with a Vigil at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 9 am Thursday, April 14, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
