Ronald Lee Rogers, 64, lost a valiant battle with cancer at his home on Friday, August 5, 2011. Ron was a caring, fun-loving man who went out of his way to help anyone he knew, make them laugh with his sarcastic sense of humor, and amaze them with his incredible appetite for good food. Ron made it his life's work to provide everything essential for an abundant, carefree and happy life to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was the greatest husband, father, brother, son and friend and will be tremendously missed by all who knew him. Ron is survived by his adoring wife and best friend of 29 years, Carmen Rogers; his very blessed children, Matthew Lee Rogers and Melissa Muñoz; his doting grandchildren, Jordan Dean Rogers and Olivia Madelyn Rogers; his proud mother, Anne Rogers; his loving brothers, Dale Rogers and Kent Rogers; and countless other relatives, co-workers and friends whose lives he deeply touched. A Committal Service will begin at 1:30pm, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery (East Shelter) with Military Honors. Ron’s memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.
