RONALD L. DEAN, 77, passed away September 8, 2007 at WBAMC. He was born March 2, 1930 in Newark, DE. He was a resident of El Paso for 34 years, being stationed at Ft. Bliss with the 513th Maint. Co. After serving 23 years he retired from the military, and worked for the EL Paso Times/Herald Post as Dock Foreman until 1992. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Ingeborg Dean; daughter, Shirley Shannon; as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister who resided in Delaware. Ronald is survived by his loving daughter, Christel Fisher; three grandsons-Alan Keith Fisher, Cody Jordan Hard, and Freeman Dockery, Jr.; and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters, all of whom reside in Delaware. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Special thanks to Station 21 EMS Unit and to WBAMC-ER/ICU for their loving care of my father.
