Rodolfo Lazaro Gonzales

Rodolfo Lazaro Gonzales (Daddy) Our Daddy was born on March 16, 1934 in Albuquerque New Mexico. His parents Palmidia and Adolfo Gonzales brought him to EI Paso, Texas at the age of five where he lived until the Lord graciously and peacefully took him on Tuesday, July 10, 2007. What can we say about our Daddy, but that he was wonderful! He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to so many! He attended Guardian Angel Grammar School, graduated from Jefferson High School in 1953 and received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Western College of Mines in 1958. He dedicated the first 37 years of his engineering career as a Radar Systems Specialist for White Sands Missile Range (W.S.M.R.) in New Mexico. He then retired from W.S.M.R and was then hired by Research Analysis and Maintenance, Inc. (R.A.M) as a consultant where he continued to apply his expertise until he retired from the company in 1996. He was a brother to Mike Gonzales, Rachel Solis, Micaela Melendez, Leo Gonzales and Jacob Gonzales. He was married for 48 years to the love of his life Margarita Christina Baeza in 1959. Together they raised five children; Mary Lou, Mary Magdalena (Nena), Victor Manuel, Rodolfo Luis Jr., and Ernesto Alonzo. He was a loving Grampy to Celeste Christine, Victoria Louise, and Benjamin Ruben Morales. He was a beautiful blessing to us all and will be missed and loved FOREVER. YOU GO DADDY!!! Visitation will be held from 7 pm to 9 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2007 at St. Jude Catholic Church with a vigil at 7:30 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 12 pm, Friday, June 13, 2007 at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
