Roberto Rubio

Beloved son, brother and father, Robert “Bobby” Rubio, 56, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2008. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and served during the Vietnam conflict. During his tour of service he received the National Defence Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He is survived by his parents Ernesto and Aurora Rubio, son; Roberto Rubio Jr. daughter; Isela Moreno, brothers; Ernesto Jr., Ricardo and Oscar Rubio, sisters; Emma Rubio, Nancy Sanchez, Anna Ramos and Sandra Santos, 9 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 from 4-9 pm with a Vigil at 7pm. At Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am. On Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. “Son, brother and father you will always be in our hearts. Life will not be the same without you. We will miss you so much.
