Roberto Gutierrez

Roberto Gutierrez, 73, was born on June 25, 1935 in Gomez Palacios, Durango. On Saturday, November 1, 2008, he peacefully went home to be with the Lord after a brave battle with cancer of 14 years. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Our father was a proud Army Veteran and served in Korea. Survivors include his wife of 50 years Ana Maria Gutierrez, children Susana, Roberto Jr. (Letty), Jerry (Kimberly), Victor (Lili), and Lilly, granddaughters, Clarissa, Sammie and Arianna and his siblings. Our family would like to thank all of those who have touched our dad’s life including family, friends, neighbors, physicians and medical staff. God Speed- GO COWBOYS! Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 6-9 pm with Vigil beginning at 7 pm at Little Flower Church 171 Polo Inn. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:30 am at Little Flower Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
