Roberta Virginia White

Roberta Virginia White, 96, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2008. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on August 10, 1912 to Lee Wesley Helena and Sadie Sally Watts. Roberta was a member of PEO, EM Chapter. She married her husband Ray J. White on August 11, 1928. Roberta is survived by her sons, Douglas L. White of San Francisco, CA, and Jay R. White and his wife Margarite White of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Erin Hirzel and Edana Slaight, and her six great grandsons, Matthew M., Mitchell A. Vechione, Andrew D., Kevin M., Jayson R., and James A. Slaight. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Chapel of Peace. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, October 24, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Chapel of Peace, 480 N. Resler. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Hirzel, Michael Slaight and Mark Vechione. Honorary Pallbearers will be her six great grandsons. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
