Robert James Stevens

Robert James Stevens (RJ) passed away on January 1st, 2019, at the age of 43. RJ was born in El Paso Texas on December 16, 1975. He graduated from Parkland High School in June 1994. Robert would go on to marry his high school sweetheart Shirley Martinez and have two wonderful children. RJ had worked at FEDEX for the past 9 years, and made some good friends there. In his spare time, RJ loved to work on cars, exercise, and spend time with his children. RJ is preceded in death by his father Thomas A. Stevens, U.S. Army Retired. He leaves behind his son Aidan and daughter Adalynn Stevens. RJ is survived by his mother Elva S. Stevens, sister Teresa A. Hemphill, spouse Rick and brother Joe G. Stevens and spouse Cathy, Nephew Ricky M. Hemphill II and niece Monica A. Stevens. RJ was a man of great character he never ceased to make us laugh. RJ was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Visitation 5pm-8pm, Monday January 7. 2018. Vigil/Rosary at 7pm. Scripture service 10am Tuesday January 8, 2018.
