Robert Dale McFall, 84, of El Paso, Texas passed away on January 13, 2008, with his wife Maria and daughters, Debbie and Sandy at his side. He was born in Kansas City, MO. On August 15, 1923. He was in the U.S. Army for 31 years, serving WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam. He retired as Sergeant First Class. Robert was a recipient of a Purple Heart and other numerous awards. He was a member of the VFW Chapter 8919 and served as their Chaplin for 5 years. He also worked for the church of William Beaumont Army Medical Center. He had an associates Degree of Applied Science. He worked with the El Paso Department of Community Development Youth Assistance Program. He enjoyed working with the children. He enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, watching John Wayne movies and being with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Maria, sister, Maudie Holker, sons, Edward and Robert, daughters, Terry, Sandy, Debbie and grandchildren, Natalie, Evan, Roxie, Cody and Beau. Husband , father, brother, grandpa and friend you are now our angel forever in our hearts. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast with a vigil/rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm, Friday, January 18, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
