Robert Lopez

Robert Lopez, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2012. Robert was a lifelong resident of El Paso. He is preceded in death by son; Roberto (Be-Bob) Lopez, brothers; Mayo and Chelino Lopez, sister; Mercedes Rodriguez. Robert is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Natividad M. Lopez, daughters; Martha L. Ortega, Sylvia Martinez (Bob), sons; Rick Lopez (Rosie), Ruben Lopez (Rosalie), and Raul Lopez, brothers; Antonio and Peter Lopez, sister; Santos Fierro, grandchildren; Belinda O. Enriquez, Benjamin Ortega and Briana Lopez, great grandchildren; Anna M Ortega, Adriana Rodriguez, and Raymundo Enriquez, great great granddaughter; Aubrey Jimenez and several nieces and nephews. Robert retired from Asarco after 30 years of service. He proudly served our country during WWII as a member of the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Burial will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 9:00 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. We gracefully give thanks for their devoted services in our time of need to: Hospice of El Paso, VNA Services, Del Sol Hospital, ICU and CCU along with Del Sol Wound Care, Dr. Orellana and the rest of the doctors that cared for him.
