Robert (Bob) Eugene Linberg passed away March 10, 2024 surrounded by family after a brief illness. He was born in Neenah, Wisconsin to Earl and Doris Linberg. He was the second of four children and grew up in New London. He traveled around the world during his Army career for 28 years and retired as a CSM in El Paso, Texas. During his Army career, he served three tours in Korea, two in Vietnam, and three in Germany. Bob is survived by, Adele, his wife of 48 years, daughters Robbin (Dave) Thompson of Parker, CO, Rea (Jeff) Gray and Renee Parrish of Colorado Springs, CO, sons Mike (Zoraida) Burke and Daniel (Synthia) Burke of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Ryan (Kim) Spilman, Christopher (Katie) West, Sarah (Marty) Maness, Rhianna (Darrell) Neville, Nicolas (Lianne) Parrish; James Burke, Nicole (Cole) Robinson, Sabrina (Marco) Resto, Chelsey Burke; great-grandchildren Hayden, Jackson, Chloe, Cadence, Sebastian, Olivia, Margaret, Emilia, Eli, Charlotte, James, Elliemae, Kaylee, Tristan, Bella, and Damien. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Jack and Tom, his sister Lois, and his daughter Dula. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Carol Linberg and Helga Cook and several nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid golfer and bowler. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boys Town or charity of your choice.
