Robert Ernest Bunnell

CSM Robert E. Bunnell, U.S. Army (Retired) 82 years of age, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018. CSM Bunnell was born in Chicago, IL on October 17, 1935. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army for 23 years, and remained in El Paso, TX since his retirement from the U.S. Army. CSM Bunnell was an active member of his Christian church. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and the American Legion. He loved dancing, and avid sports fan, and had a rich social life. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Lucinda Bunnell. He is survived by his sons: Robert E. Bunnell, Jr., and Alan Lee Bunnell, and daughters: Cindy Ann (Bunnell) Stout and Laura Lynn Bunnell; brother: Palmer W. Bunnell, Jr.; sister: Patricia A. Bacigalupo; brother-in-law: Kenneth Bacigalupo; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends. Burial service will be held at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with full military honors on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:30AM. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
