Robert B. Arvizu

On April 6, 2008 heaven received a very special gift. Robert Arvizu, an extraordinary husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and an all around fantastic person, was taken from this world. Always in high spirits Robert always brought out the best in any person or situation. With a spirit that soared like an eagle Robert always lifted anyone around with a joke or his playful wit. Robert had a way of making everyone feel special and was loved by all who knew him. Robert’s passion in life was his wife Sylvia and son Steven. He is preceded in death by his father Ismael Arvizu. Survived by Mother: Romana Lara; Wife: Sylvia Arvizu; Son: Steven Robert Arvizu; Brothers: Ismael Arvizu Jr., Hugo Arvizo & George Arvizu; Nephews & Nieces. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Friday, April 11, 2008 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Funeral Mass will be at 9:15 am Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ismael Arvizu, Hugo Arvizu, George Arvizu, Raul Cortez Jr., Gabriel Aragon & Abdiel Torres. Honorary Pallbearer will be Brandon Arvizu. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas.
