Robbie Emma McLane Harris July 16, 1925-November 29, 2011 Robbie Emma Harris, 86, died Tuesday, November 29 in El Paso, Texas. She was born July 16, 1925 in Clarksville, AR and moved to El Paso in 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Claud Raymond Harris, her parents Seth and Ila McLane, her brother Seth Monroe McLane, and great-grandson Beau Ray Bagi. She is survived by three children: Roberta Blyskal of El Paso, TX; Raymond Harris (Carolyn) of Columbia, SC; and James Harris(Linda) of Las Cruces, NM. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Bill Byers, Debbie Hammond, Jeff Harris, Cindy Ahern, Jim Harris, Jr., and Christine Strickland, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family for her loving devotion and generosity beyond her means. Friends and family alike also will miss her for her wonderful cooking, especially her holiday pecan pies. She was a long-time employee of Sears and a member of the Westside Church of Christ. The family would like to thank the Regency Assisted Living staff, and Dr. Muneer Assi and Dr. David Dobrin for their kindness and care during Robbie’s illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at Westside Church of Christ, 100 Crestmont Dr., El Paso, (915) 584-9475.
