Rita G. Vidal

Rita G. (Pety) Vidal, born to the late Hilma Ossa and Felipe Gallardo passed away in the early morning hour of February 6, 2022 surrounded by many of her loved ones. As seemingly frail as our precious mom appeared to be, she was without a doubt, the absolute rock of our family. Rita is survived by her husband, Charles Vidal; children; Charles Vidal Jr., Susana Reid Vidal, Phillip Vidal, Michael Vidal, his spouse, Jill Vidal, Elizabeth Vidal Azar, her husband, Tony Azar, Eric Vidal and his spouse, Sunday Ponzio. Grandchildren; Jacqueline, Alexandra, Caleb, Caitlin, Sasha, Tatiana, Lola, Aidan, Mia, Josh, Zachary, Benjamin, Erin, and Evan. Great Grandchildren; Myles, Nolan, Michael, Jax, and Pax. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
