Richard H. Schweiss

Schweiss, Richard H., 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in El Paso, Texas. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 16, 1934 and was a longtime resident of El Paso and was a Switchman for the Railroad. He is survived by his loving wife, Edith Y. Schweiss, sons, John A. Schweiss, Herman W. Schweiss, and Richard H. Schweiss; step-son: Marvin S. Tanner; step-daughter: Lisa Hill; ten grandchildren, Albert Carrasco, Jon Carrasco, Josh Carrasco, Nathan Tanner, Ruben Tanner, Danielle, Tyler, Cody, Brianna, and Sara. Six great grandchildren, Lisa A. Carrasco, Romina Carrasco, Trenton, Alex, Cali Rose, and Sydney. Visitation from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast with a vigil/rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass: 9:45 am Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church. Interment: Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
