We are heartbroken to announce the death of our beloved Richard "Pops" Marquez. He passed away at the age of 67, surrounded by his family. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Richard was very loved by all those he met and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years, Lety Marquez, daughters; Katherina Chafai (Rafik Chafai) and Angelina Robledo (Lorenzo Robledo), grandson; R.J. Chafai, siblings; Lucy Munoz, Gloria Tarango, and Gilbert Marquez and father; Carlos F. Marquez. He is preceded in death by his mother, Angelina Lujan Marquez, and brother Carlos Marquez Jr. Richard enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a hard-working entrepreneur who had a burning passion for cars, was a great provider, and was always the life of any party. To our dearest Pops, with tearful eyes, we watched you and saw you pass away, and although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Richard will always hold a place in our hearts.
