Richard Lee Graf

Richard Lee Graf (Dick Graf), 87, of El Paso, Texas passed away on January 2, 2020 in El Paso, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 Carolina. Visitation from 4:00 to 8:00pm, with Prayer Service at 6:00pm, on Wednesday, January 23, 2020. Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 9:30 AM at Sunset Funeral Homes- East. Interment will be at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson. Richard Lee Graf was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to George and Fenton Graf on June 27, 1932. Richard attended Mercedes High School, in Mercedes, Texas. He received his Masters in education from the University of Texas at El Paso. He taught at El Paso High School and Austin High School. He served in the United States Navy for five years as an ordinary seaman. He enjoyed traveling golfing, dancing and acting. He was survived by his brother Bob Graf and wife Ann, his sister in-law Marsha Graf, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend Bessie Cramer Graf and his parents George and Fenton Graf, and his brother Jack Graf.
