Richard E. Foote

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, Richard E. Foote passed away at the home he shared with his son and his son’s family.

Richard was born on May 20, 1936 in Aurora, Illinois to Fred E. and Rose M. (Steging) Foote. Richard retired from the Army in 1978 after 20 years of service. After many years of living around the world both in the Army and civilian life, he settled in Milton, Florida. When his third wife Rosemary (love of his life), passed away in 2019, he returned to El Paso to live with his son and his family.

He leaves behind a daughter, Paula Deems and husband Richard, son Daniel (Deacon) and wife Sherri, 3 stepsons, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many friends who were loved like family. His Celebration of Life will be on Friday, December 6th, at 6:00 p.m, at The Worship Center, 4000 Hercules, with Pastor Ralph Sanchez officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Youth of the Worship Center.
