Richard L. Aguilar

Richard L. Aguilar, 72, entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death his parents, Lorenzo Aguilar and Helen Shamy. Grandparents, Kellie and Nellie Shamy and Refugio and Petra Aguilar. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa V. Aguilar. Sons, Samuel Aguilar, daughter, Amanda Denise Aguilar. Stepson, Javier Casillas and Stepdaughters, Laura Y. Lopez and Carolyn Casillas. His brother, Daniel Aguilar and sisters, Loretta Baray and Cindee Aguilar. Also leaving behind 4 grandchildren to honor and cherish his memory.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a Celebration of Life from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, Texas 79907. A Graveside will then follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
