Richard (Rich) Adolph Jordan

September 8, 1969 — February 25, 2011

Richard (Rich) Adolph Jordan Given to this earth on : Monday, September 8, 1969 Taken on: Friday, February 25, 2011 Richard was born, grew up, and lived in El Paso until the age of 25. Rich was the first of three children that were to bless his parent’s life, Richard and Yolanda. Then two sisters followed: Stacy and Jennifer. This was the Jordan Circus!!! Richard was a handsome, charismatic, charming, gentle, friendly, and fun-loving soul. Every person he came across knew this immediately. He left a print in those who knew him. Rich lived every day to the fullest and with the most positive out look on life. He knew how to be the life of the party and when someone was sad he knew how to make their day better. Rich attended Vista Hills Elementary, Desert View Middle and JM Hanks High School. Studied at Texas Tech, University of Texas – El Paso, and was about to complete his studies in Floristry Design at the City College of San Francisco. During his educational process he discovered his true self. He was creative and stylish. In his high school yearbook he was even voted "best dressed". His little sisters adored and copied him. He was always a trendsetter. When his parents saw such a creative son they knew that his talent was beyond this world. Once he set his mind to something anything was possible. Then when Rich turned 25 he spread his wings and made the journey to San Francisco, CA, where he lived the last 16 years of his life. There he grew into his skin, felt alive, and was happy. He spent his time with his loving partner, Frank Briones; he focused his time "facebook-ing"; listening to music; cooking; dancing; and created beautiful floral designs. What a talent!!!! Rich recently received some wonderful news...he was going to be an uncle in the summer. He said, "I am going to be the best uncle ever.” Sadly on Friday, February 25, 2011, his time on earth came to an end and a new journey began where he was welcomed by awaiting family and will wait for those to come.
