Rick (Ricardo) Lino Trejo, 58, passed away on September 19, 2021. He lived in Minnesota for 14 years but spent most of his life in El Paso, Tx, including the last 17 years. He graduated from Andress High School and Western Technical College. Rick worked as a Cybersecurity professional defending the Army networks. Rick embraced his many loves, Family, Fur Babies, Friends, Football, Food and Fast Cars. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family and friends. He became a Husky dad during his time in MN and supported the local Husky Rescue. He made everyone feel seen and appreciated. As El Paso’s #1 Pittsburgh Steeler fan, he displayed his love for the team every day, not just Sundays. As a five-year cancer survivor, he supported the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation and always found time to tell his story and support those starting their treatment. He loved to cook large meals and smoke meats. Holidays were his favorite time to cook those wonderful special meals where family and friends could enjoy time with one another around good food made with so much love. Rick is survived by his beloved fur-babies, Bandit, Nikko and Mila and his siblings Deborah Tucker, Carmen (Kirk) Patterson, Shawn Eft, Susan Trejo, and four nephews, two nieces and two grandnieces and one grandnephew. He is preceded in death by his fur-babies Shinook and Kasey, mom and stepdad, Alma and Jim Eft, dad, Lino Trejo and nephew, Charles Tucker.
