Ricardo Lucero

Richard (Ray) Lucero, 69, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023.

He was born in El Paso, Texas on December 25, 1953. He went to Riverside High School and left to help his dad in the plumbing business. Later in life he married his high school sweetheart on February 27, 1988.

He had a mix of hobbies but his joy was walking in the park with his dog Tuff, visiting his grandchild, and riding his Harley Davidson in the wind. He loved life.

Richard is preceded in death by his wife Irene Lucero. He is survived by his step-daughters; Monica and JoJennifer, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and siblings; Tina Sanchez, Emma Jo Lara, Silvano Jr., Roberta Hernandez, Thelma Lucero, Yolanda Lucero, Gerald Lucero, and Andy Lucero.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, December 11, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. A Chapel Service will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza.
