Ricardo C. Cruz

Ricardo “Ricky” Cruz, 52, passed away Monday, May 30,2011. Ricky, a member of Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo Tribe, was employed by Speaking Rock. He is preceded in death by his parents: Antonio G. Cruz and Julia C. Cruz, and by his younger brother: Fernando Toro. He is survived by Lourdes Granados, his two sons: Ricardo (Jr.) and Rene Cruz, two brothers: Antonio and Rodolfo Cruz, three sisters: Julie Soto, Gloria Cruz, Terry Gonzalez; 22 nieces and nephews, and 4 great- great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Mission). Funeral Mass will be said at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Mission). Pallbearers will be Rodolfo Cruz, Jr., Ruben Martinez, Xavier Gonzales, Michael Cortez, Bobby Cruz, Iban Granados, Alfredo Granados, Antonio Cruz III, Lionel Cruz, Andrew Hernandez, and Kenny Ford. Interment will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
