Ricarda P. Leal

Ricarda P. Leal, 86, began her eternal life on June 20, 2017. Her struggle with several illnesses has laid her to rest in peace. Ricarda attended Bowie High School, and worked 40 years at Farah Manufacturing Company, as a seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband David, Sr., son, David “Boy” Jr., her parents Franscisco and Dominga Piñon and several sisters and brothers are also waiting for her in Heaven. Ricarda is survived by daughter, Yvonne Leal-Rodriguez, grandchildren David “Bubba” (Liz) and Michelle Rodriguez-Provencio (John). Great grandchildren Destiny, Jeter, Andrew and Layla. Also her sister Francis Davila and many godchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins. Special thanks to Nurses Foster Home, Veronica and Antonio Ortiz, Katy and staff. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Mass at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
