Reynalda A. De La Riva

Reynalda A. De La Riva beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Sunday August 18, 2024. Her vibrant spirit, boundless love, and unwavering strength touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born on January , 1932, Reynalda lived a life marked by grace, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. She was a pillar of strength and warmth, guiding her six children with an open heart and a steady hand. Reynalda's legacy is carried on by her children: Frank, Martha, Miguel, Guadalupe, Arturo, and Irma. Her love extended to her 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren each of whom holds a special place in their hearts for their grandmother.

Reynalda was known for her nurturing nature, her infectious laughter, impeccable style, joy she took in looking glamorous, love of gardening and her unwavering faith. She had a gift for making every birthday or holiday gathering memorable and cherished every moment spent with her family. Her home was always a place of comfort and joy, where stories were shared, and love was celebrated.

Her legacy lives on through the values she instilled in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren—the importance of family, the joy of togetherness, and the strength to face life’s challenges with courage and grace.

Visitation starts 5:00-8:00 PM August 29th at Northeast Sunset Funeral Home with Rosary held at 6:00 PM.

Additional Visitation: 9:00am on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr.

A celebration of Reynalda’s life will be held on August 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM at San Juan Bautista Church, followed by Committal Service at 1:30pm at Evergreen East Cemetery.

Reynalda A. De La Riva's memory will forever remain a beacon of love and inspiration to all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
