Reydeselle (Rey/Chuckies) St. John, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 23, 2023. He was born in El Paso, Texas on November 12, 1967. He served in the U.S. Army for a short period of time as a medical specialist. Throughout his life he mostly worked in the construction industry with Property Maintenance.
Rey lived life to the fullest, he lived the life he wanted. At a young age, he received private piano lessons, primarily playing classical piano. This is where he learned to read music and participated in local music competitions. At Riverside High School, he played trumpet in the marching and jazz band. Rey enjoyed playing basketball with his buddies. If he wasn’t playing at his home court, he would go to the parks and play pick up. He played well enough to be recognized in that circle. He was a fanatic of the Cowboys, but not necessarily Jerry. Rey was such a jokester and always had good time while surrounded by family and friends. He will be truly missed especially his contagious laugh.
Chuckies is preceded in death by his father, Reydeselle R. St. John and his stepfather, Daniel Mooneyhan. He is survived by his two children Andre Reydeselle St. John, Katrina Baeza St. John, and granddaughter Autumn St. John. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Soledad Mooneyhan, stepmother Myra St. John, brother Daniel St. John, sisters, Christine Estronel, Dominique and Vanessa St. John. He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephews, and friends.
