Renée Louise Benecke passed on Friday, 12 Jan, 2024. She was born on 24 May, 1949 in Putnam, Connecticut.
Renée is survived by her husband, Peter J. Benecke Sr., her siblings, Glenn Gagnon (Kathy), Brian Gagnon (Adrian), and Pamela Sirious, her children: Robert Hopkins, Sean Scott Hopkins (Bobbi), Vanessa Lee Lopez (Hector). Renée blended children: Abineon Benecke (Candace), Mathias Benecke (Camille), and Peter J. Benecke Jr., 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren.
Renée is preceded in passing by her parents, Archie and Estelle Gagnon, son Trevor Edwards, and daughter Jacqueline Benecke, as well as granddaughter Alexa Retana.
Renée worked in the banking business, Rams Head, VFW 8919, Ft. Bliss Exchange, and Ft. Bliss Commissary, from where she retired.
Most of all Renée was a very loving wife, a best friend, and the best confidante a man could ever have. I Love You! “Dabu Ba Chen!”
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Road.
