Rene Edward Ramirez, age 62, entered his eternal passage of “Rocking on that one” with his favorite musicians on Sunday, March 03, 2024, in El Paso, Tx. His love for music reached anyone he knew and then some. There wasn’t a time that music wasn’t blasting from the house no matter the event and no matter the time, even at 2 a.m. Rene spent many hours listening to music, while also organizing the shelves of his books, movie, music, pen and sports collections or giving you facts about every actor and song in the movie you were watching, throughout the entire movie. His love for movies, music, sports, the stock market and their history weren’t the only things he loved and gave his soul to. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. His love for everyone and everything will be greatly missed. Rene is preceded in death by his mother: Paulina Ramirez and his sister-in-law Antonia Macias. His memory will live on through his wife: Christine (Crissie) Ramirez. Father: Gilbert Ramirez. His siblings: Gilbert D. Ramirez (nephews Jon and Matt) and Cynthia Ramirez. His children: Lauren Ramirez, Brandon Ramirez (Luis), Timothy Ramirez (Charlenne), Aimee Devine, Reeanna Stafford (Greg), Travis Pruitt (Charlayne), and Maegan Ramirez, as well as three grandchildren: Peyton, Pruitt, and Claire. His love of life and spirit will also live on through the many family members and friends he touched.
Rene was born September 6, 1961, and was a lifelong resident of El Paso. He graduated from Burgess High School in 1979. His love of the stock market/finance led him to a financial advisor/banking career.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
