Regino L. Ortega

Regino LOrtega, 97, entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving wife; Ignacia Acosta Ortega. Son, Manuel Ortega; Granddaughter, Corina Reza; Parents, Policarpio Ortega and Gumercinda Lara. Brothers, Jesus Lara Ortega and Policarpio Lara Ortega Jr. Sisters, Rosa Lara Ortega, Beatrice Corrales, Emma Garcia and Maria Ortega. Regino is survived by his loving sons, Edwardo Ortega, Regino Ortega Jr., David Ortega and Lionel Ortega. Daughters, Yolanda Ortega, Estela Orozco and Patsy Ortega. Brothers, Ruben Ortega, Santos Ortega and Blas Ortega. Also leaving behind 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren to honor and cherish his memory. Regino was very loved by all those he met and will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2023  at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A Mass will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at St's Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 673  Old Hueco Tanks Rd, El Paso, Texas 79927. A Graveside will follow at 1:30 PM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79938. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
