Refugio Brito

Refugio Brito, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother peacefully passed on to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Refugio was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas having been born to Jose DeAnda and Francisca Mendias in Presidio, Texas on November 1, 1921. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Manuel Brito, her parents, Sisters Cruz Vasquez, Inez Hernandez, Jesusita Ibarra, and brother Rodolfo DeAnda. Mrs. Brito is survived by her sons, Ruben and Ricardo Brito; daughters Irene Galvan and Elizabeth Aguilar; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother always sacrificing and loving her family, friends and relatives. She was a special person that will always be in our minds and forever in our hearts. The family thanks our Lord for allowing her 90 years of life and the joy she brought to all of us. The visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11th at Sunset Funeral Home on Resler Drive with a rosary service at 5:00 p.m. Mass will be at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 with internment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
